CYNDI GARCIA--Anchor/Reporter
When you think about Cyndi, think about experience. With more than 10-years of television journalism work as an Award-winning Anchor-Reporter-Producer, Cyndi knows the industry inside and out and how to be successful in it. As a former Main Anchor-Producer at the NBC affiliate in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, an Anchor-Reporter for News 24 Houston, a highly successful reporter in Hawaii and a newly named Anchor for Houston's Global Broadcasting Channel, Cyndi brings her expertise, impeccable work effort and joyful dedication to 713News.
She is a passionate, caring and creative person who has produced and hosted several documentaries for Hawaii Public Television and put together stories for Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Inside Edition, Extra, E Television and ABC News. Cyndi is also a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild, the National Association of Hispanic Journalist and the Asian American Journalist Association. Yet, despite all of her accolades, Cyndi is a down to earth proud Houstonian who can always be depended on to give her heart and give it her all.

Mr Instrumentalist is a renowned recording artist and film composer who is comfortable in many genres of music including Funk jazz, classical, rap and contemporary rock. He composes original and exciting musical scores for our news segments. As the 3D motion graphic designer for 713 News, he uses his unmatched creativity to create original Logos and Graphics that help accentuate the high level of production that you have come to expect from 713News. Mr Instrumentalist also shoots, writes, edits and appears in several 713News segments including "Americas Alpha" and "Night on the Town". 713News Poet Reporter and your Main Man Mr Instrumentalist is committed to bringing you positive stories, positive music and a positive vibe.

CHOYCE DAVIS--Videographer/Producer
Choyce Davis is a 713News Sports Videographer/Producer who covers Sports on the High School, College and Professional Levels. Choyce grew up in Houston and graduated from Thurgood Marshall High School in Missouri City. This Native Houstonian also enjoys reporting on positive events throughout the Houston Area. Although, for Choyce, covering sporting events and athletes are his passion. He is constantly striving to provide the best sporting coverage in the Bayou City.

MELISSA MELNAR--Love & Relationship Expert
Melissa Melnar is a native Houstonian who is passionate about her work as a counselor. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and earned a Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of Houston. In her career Melissa has counseled adults and adolescents in a variety of settings, trained new counselors, and spoken at conferences. In 2010 she began working in private practice on Houston’s west side where she sees adults for infidelity, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, and depression. HENRY YAU--Arts & Culture Reporter
Lone Star Emmy Award winning writer, Henry Yau, is a freelance reporter for 713news. Born and raised in the Andes in a small town bordering Venezuela and Colombia, Henry is of Chinese descent. He speaks three languages: English, Spanish and Cantonese, and holds two degrees in Communications from the University of Houston.
In 1994, he immigrated to Oakland Chinatown. Then in 1997, moved to Houston where he finished high school and college. Previous to his position at 713news, he worked as Web Producer for Telemundo 47 KTMD, TV Reporter for TV Informa 43 KHLM and Associate Producer for FOX 26 KRIV.
Henry likes to travel and has visited 24 countries in the last decade.
